Is it free to register with autobizjobs.ie?
Yes, registration is completely free for jobseekers and means that you can be a step closer to your next motor trade career move.
How do I register?
Just go to the quick registration page under the jobseekers section and fill in your details. We will then send you an email to confirm your registration, together with your user name and password. You can then use these details to log into your personal admin section of the site and enter more detailed job search details, information on skills and experience and upload a CV if you require.
Do I have to register to see the job listings?
No, you can view the current job listings as a guest. However, by registering, you will automatically start to receive email alerts about new vacancies as they become available. This means you need never miss a suitable motor trade job opportunity.
Do I have to upload a CV and provide my career details when I register?
No, you can register with just your basic contact details if you prefer, but by providing us with further details of your skills and experience, you will have a better opportunity of being found by suitable employers.
There are three CV upload options. What are they for?
1. Uploaded CV file:
You can upload a CV file to the site in Word or PDF format. This is for your convenience and means you can quickly and easily attach a CV to any application you make. These uploaded files can be changed as often as you like. Note: These files remain private and cannot be searched by prospective employers. The only time a prospective employer will see the content of these files is if you attach them to a specific application.
2. Text CV (copy and paste option)
If you would like to have your full CV and contact details available for prospective employers to view then you can copy and paste your CV details and create a searchable text CV which will be stored on the site. This will only be searchable by bona fide motor trade employers. Remember if you chose this option your contact details will not remain confidential.
3. Online CV questions
We recommend that you complete the series of on-line CV questions about your skills and experience in the motor trade. This will allow prospective employers to find you quickly, if your experience matches their requirements. This section only takes a few moments to complete and provides information such as your years of experience in the industry, specific areas of expertise and experience with any particular vehicle makes. The information you enter here will be fully searchable by prospective employers, however, your personal contact details and name will remain confidential. Employers will be able to invite you to apply for a job if they feel you match their requirements. Your personal contact details will only be divulged if you decide to accept this invitation and apply for the position

Is autobizjobs.ie only aimed and sales and mechanical positions?
No, we welcome jobseekers from all aspects of the motor industry and will carry listings for any type of vacancy in the motor trade or a related industry.
How do I make an application for a job?
If you find a position that you want to apply for, click on the apply for this position link when you are viewing it. You can then attach a covering note and CV as required.
Does autobizjobs.ie arrange interviews?
No. Once you have applied for a position, it will be up to the prospective employer to make contact with you and arrange for an interview if required.
How often will I receive job alerts by email?
We will send out alerts as they arrive on site, you just specify what job sectors you are interested in and we will only notify you if they meet the criteria that you specify. We will not send jobs that are not relevant to your chosen sector.
Can I change my job alert preferences?
Yes, you can change and update your job alert preferences at any time. Just log into to you admin area and click on the change preferences link.
